Bosque County Farm Bureau Talent Find Contest

This contest seeks to identify talented youth within the county.  Winner of the county contest
will be awarded a $150 scholarship and will be eligible to compete for a $1000 scholarship
at the district contest in October.

Eligibility requirements include:

  1. Contestants must be between the ages of 16-19 as of September 1, 2010.
  2. The performance of the act must be confined to a normal stage setting and not dangerous
    in nature to audience or participant.
  3. Contestants must be a Texas Farm Bureau member, or a member of a Texas Farm
    Bureau family.
  4.  Contestants must be amateurs.  An amateur is one who has not received direct
    remuneration for the performance of the talent.
  5. Farm Bureau employees, dealers, and/or servicing agents' families and previous state
    Talent Find winners are not eligible to enter.
  6. No contestant will be allowed to participate at the district level in the Talent Find contest
    more than two (2) times.

Miss Texas Farm Bureau Contest

This contest seeks to identify young ladies capable of representing the Farm Bureau at public
activities.  The county contest will be held in late June and will provide a $150 scholarship to the
winner.

Eligibility requirements include:

  1. Contestants must be the daughter or sister of a Texas Farm Bureau member. 
  2. Contestants must be single (defined as never married and without children).
  3. Farm Bureau employees, dealers, and/or servicing agents' families and previous state
    winners are not eligible to enter this contest.
  4. No contestant will be allowed to participate at the district level in the Miss TFB contest
    more than two (2) times.
  5. Contestants must be between the ages of 16-19 as of September 2010

2010 Miss Farm Bureau Winner:

 2010-  Lindsey Schnick of Valley Mills, TX was the winner of the Bosque County Miss Farm Bureau contest for 2010.

                             

2010 Talent Find Winner:

  2010 -  Jake Wallace of Clifton, TX was the winner of the Bosque County Farm Bureau Talent Find Contest 

                             

2010 Youth Leadership Conference :

  The 2010 Texas Farm Bureau Youth Leadership Conference was held June 14-18, 2010 at Angelo State University in San Angelo TX.

Billy Millet, Gabby Garza and Nic Bracknell attended the 2010 Youth Leadership Conference at San Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX.      

                       

2010 Free Enterprise Speech Contest Winner:

Date, time and place have not been set.  You must attend the 2010 Youth Leadership Conference to be eligible for this contest.  

2010 Summer Ag Institute:

2010 Central Texas Youth Fair:

  June 1-5 2010-Bosque County Farm Bureau purchased the Fair T-Shirt at the 2010 Youth Fair and Rodeo.
